Ira Konyukhova - the curator of II Chuvash Biennale of Contemporary Art.

An independent curator and artist. Has a degree in media art and exhibition design. Scholarship holder of a research program of the Valie Export Center at the Linz University of the Arts (2021-2022, Austria), the Braunschweig Projects Residency Program (2018, Braunschweig, Germany), and the owner of the Lower Saxony grant for exhibition and research activities (2021-2022). Studied at Mainz Academy of Arts (Germany), Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design (Germany), University of Art and Design Linz (Upper Austria). Has an extensive teaching experience in Germany, has been working in the cultural sphere for more than 15 years. Organized and curated exhibitions both in Russia and Germany.
